Expert-led migration for complex books
Keep your accounting history useful after the move. We examine the records, item detail, and payment links that matter to your business, then define what must reconcile before cutover.
A written, fixed-fee assessment comes first. Its fee is credited toward your migration if you proceed.
Illustrative assessment check. We test the agreed transaction types, details, and links in your file before quoting delivery.
The assessment
Standard conversion can carry many records, but the outcome depends on your Desktop file and Online setup. A matching total does not tell you whether an old invoice still has its item lines, class, and applied payment.
Our paid assessment reviews a consented copy of your file, tests high-risk records in an isolated Online company when needed, and gives you a written migration scope, exception list, reconciliation plan, and delivery quote.

Check agreed native forms, line items, and payment or credit links. Identify what changes between Desktop and Online.
Set report tie-outs, approved exceptions, cutover gates, responsibilities, and the fixed delivery scope before work begins.
Two perspectives, one reliable move
Open an old invoice. See its service items and class. Trace the payment. We assess the records your team relies on, define the history period for your file, and show you what needs approval before your business moves to Online.
Talk through your migrationBring a complex Desktop file to a defined assessment. IES Transfer handles conversion testing and reconciliation evidence; your firm guides accounting treatment and reviews the outcome with the client. The business contracts directly for the service.
Discuss a client fileThe delivery path
The assessment determines the agreed records and reports. Delivery starts with the supported Desktop-to-Online path, then addresses measured gaps.
Keep the untouched original and multiple independently stored backups. Restore and check the backups before conversion and at cutover.
Check native transaction forms, item detail, dimensions, and related payment or credit links against the agreed scope.
Compare agreed financial and subledger reports. Your accountant approves accounting treatment; your accounting owner approves documented exceptions.
Unexplained differences stop the move. Continue in Desktop while issues are resolved and the checks are rerun.
The cutover rule
Agreed reports must reconcile, required native detail and links must pass their checks, and every exception stays visible in the sign-off. If a record cannot meet the agreed standard, you approve the exception or a revised scope before delivery is quoted.
Common questions
The assessment sets the historical period and transaction types for your file. We test what can remain native and usable in the target Online setup, then disclose exceptions before quoting delivery.
An unexplained difference blocks cutover. Your business continues operating in Desktop while the issue is resolved and the agreed checks are repeated.
After the free fit call, we quote a fixed assessment fee in writing before accessing your file. If you engage us for the assessed migration, we credit the full fee toward delivery.
The conversion path is a starting point. Our assessment checks the specific transaction types, item detail, links, and reports your team needs after the move. We document gaps and get accounting decisions and exceptions approved before quoting the migration.
